Anonymous asked: So which Phoebe blog should I follow for new gifs?

Hey! None. For now I am not planning on giffing unless I really feel like it. This blog will continue to stay open, just in case people wanna continue reblog or have future requests, on this we will see. Instead @ptonkincloset is where I am posting Phoebe’s clothing and exact matches. But right now, this blog is not as active as before. It’s on stand. I hope this clears it up a bit.

SOURCE: Vogue Australia - Phoebe Tonkin’s Morning Beauty Routine in 10 Products (x)
WHEN: May 13th, 2018
SKIN PREP + BASE: Phoebe starts by using Chanel La Solution 10 De Chanel ($80) which is a moisturizer, mixed with a little bit of oil, in this case the Chanel Huile de Jasmin Revitalizing Facial Oil with Jasmine Extract ($120). Phoebe also wears a thin layer of sunscreen, in this case, the Glossier Invisible Shield ($25). After taking care of her moisturizing and SPF, like a good Aussie, Phoebe continues by using a little bit of foundation, in this case the Chanel Le Teint Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Flawless Foundation ($60) – I cannot tell the shade – mixed with the concealer contained in the Chanel Palette Essentielle (concealer, highlighter and color all in one) ($60) – a bit hard to tell the shade in this case as well.

LIPS, CHEEKS AND LASHES: After taking care of her base, Phoebe reveals that she does not wear mascara but does curl her lashes with Chanel Recourbe Cils De Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler then fills in her eyebrows with the Glossier Boy Brow ($16) – possibly in the shade Brown, which is the one she usually uses. Onto the lips, Phoebe creates her own lip stain made by Rms Beauty Lip2Cheek ($36) mixed with the red part (Lip and Cheek color) of the Chanel Palette Essentielle, then dabs it on her lips, a bit on her cheeks and her eyelids.

HAIR AND SCENT: After taking care of her make-up, Phoebe focuses on her hair and reveals a product she really enjoys, the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose Dry Shampoo ($28) and one final touch, a spritz of perfume, in this case, Chanel Gabrielle Chanel Eau De Parfum ($135).

I have moved the style section of this blog to @ptonkincloset. Feel free to check it out and follow! I am currently working on posting the most recent posts and then I will start adding old ones. See you there. ❤️

My Final Choice.

Hello, gorgeous people! I have finally come up with a decision for this blog. I took for myself two days, but I think, deep down, all along, I knew what was best for me and this blog. I think it would’ve been the most obvious choice to turn this blog into a fashion one, considering the good amount of followers I have already, but it somehow felt wrong as well, as if I were not being honest with you and I didn’t really like that. Also I didn’t really wanna delete everything I’ve worked for. Not to mention that I had to re-work a whole new tagging system and go through 400 posts. So, I have opened a brand-new blog, to focus only on Phoebe’s style and leave this one here, where it belongs. I will keep @phoebejanetonkindaily open, just in case I get back into giffing – which I doubt, but still – and this way people can also continue to reblog, if they feel like it, and I won’t be throwing away almost 2 years of work as well. Opening a new blog symbolizes also a new start, and I think this is what it deserves and what I would love to focus on, right now. If you have enjoyed my previous style posts on Phoebe and you’d love to see more, I would love to see you on @ptonkincloset. I completely understand if you decide not to, but I would love to see some of you there as well, to join me in this new adventure. It’s still a work in progress. I am still working on the theme, a new one is coming, and with time, I will delete the old posts on here and re-post them with more info, onto ptonkincloset.

Thank you so much for being so kind with me and following along during this journey. It meant and still does mean a lot to me. 💗

Changes?

phoebejanetonkindaily:

Hey, guys, we need to talk. I’ve been wanting to do something different on this blog for a few months now but kind of held back for a wee bit. I think there are times and phases of life for different things and interests and right about now, I feel like I am heading in a different direction than the one I used to gravitate towards. I am also the kind of person that gets hyped on something, so much that it ends up consuming myself, leaving no interest whatsoever and I don’t want that to happen - especially with Phoebe, not to mention the fact that I have less time than I used to. I don’t honestly see myself doing more edits and giffing; lately I have been struggling with doing edits of any kind and it felt more like something I had to do to fill the blog instead of something I really wanted to do, so I’ve been thinking about turning this blog into a fashion blog alone and not an update one. This means there will be no more daily posts on Phoebe’s updates, no more edits – I don’t know if I will delete all the old ones yet – and add only posts on what Phoebe wears, maybe even focusing on her on screen projects. The blog, will, of course, change name. What do you think? Should I start all over again even with the fashion post so that they can be in order? Care to give me a hand in this?

I am gonna leave this on and stop posting updates, waiting to make a decision. I am gonna take literally a couple of days for this and start anew on Monday.

The choices are;

Anonymous asked: I don't think you should delete your past posts even if you are changing directions as it's still phoebe related and your fashion posts don't necessarily need to be in order esp if you do a tagging system but anyways good luck!

Thank you for letting me know your opinion, I appreciate it. I am a bit torn on that as well because people might be mad to find edits and gifs in a fashion blog - people tend to get mad rather easily. Although, I don’t have much of a tagging system, so I might have to go through 400 posts and work it out. That is why I thought about starting fresh, to have the option of working out a tagging system that works for me and not have bumpy updates with edits in the middle, but a clearer, more tidy page.
